Self Enforcement

Self enforcement is a non-confrontational method of controlling your parking facilities. It can be adapted to the needs of most clients whether you need to control small or large parking spaces

The self enforcement scheme is ideal for clients with in house security or maintenance staff. This system allows you to issue parking charges in any instance where vehicles are parked in contravention to the parking restrictions in place at your location.

The scheme is also suitable for land owners or any authorised person acting on behalf of a third party, that is being inconvenienced by abuse of your parking facilities or land. The self-enforcement solution is effective and easily implemented.

Self Enforcement Example

Clearly visible warning signs are mounted on the site. The signs are designed and worded to give maximum effect in deterring unauthorised parking in accordance with DVLA codes of conduct, and inform motorists of the consequences of unauthorised parking. The signs clearly state our company name so motorists are aware that we are responsible for enforcement and not you.

Offending motorists are ticketed by you and are required to pay a parking charge of £85. This charge is automatically reduced to £60 providing the payment is made within 14 days from the date of issue. Failure to pay the reduced parking charge of £60 within the allocated 14 days from the date of issue will result in the vehicle owner details being obtained from the DVLA and then the required payment reverts back to the original £85.

You will then return a copy of the PCN to us...

  • Submit the PCN details via the admin section on our web site.
  • In your pre-paid envelope provided in your enforcement pack.

Our legal Department will undertake recovery of the debt at no expense to you.

You the client will receive £10 for every fixed penalty notice collected from your site. (Please note this does not apply to parking charges issued by our Parking Wardens). This often means that the whole scheme is not only self-financing but generates additional revenue, which in some instances can be substantial.
